Time sure flies!!

For those of you that actually check my blog, "I"M SOOOO SORRY"! If you can believe this, I forgot all about my blogs! I will try updating them tomorrow with new info and pics. Been a bit pre-occupied with moving and settling in. Seems like there are more boxes of stuff than room to put them. I'm going to have to get really organized in this smaller space we now call home!

My First CD Album

My first CD album! I used "used" CDs for the covers and glued (strong white glue applied with a foam paintbrush) papers to them. Then I cut out circles the same size for my pages from cardstock. Added my pics and trimmed accordingly. Then I embellished with stickers and a bit of journalling. All cardstock and stickers are from the Stampin' Up! Simply Scrappin' Kit "Flowers and Friends" (hostess benefit). I used my my Crop-a-dile to punch a hole in the front and back CD covers (went thru like butter ;)) and then thru the pages as well. Great tool!
I love it and can't wait to make another one :D

This album is of our trip to Argentina in February, focusing on my kids!

Maze Book

I've started this Maze Book and decided to post the pic of it before it's totally done. I still have to decorate the inside and that will take me some time! :)

I used a piece of dollar store cardstock for the inside, some cardboard for the covers and SU's Loves Me paper from the Winter mini catalogue 2007. This tutorial came from Craft TV Weekly http://www.crafttvweekly.com/player.html?wid=79 So easy, you'll love trying this one!

Some new cards

I finally got some new cards done. Can't figure out how the days go by so quickly and I get nothing much accomplished!
The first photo shows a group of 4 cards and a criss-cross card that I used as a card holder for the cards. They are created with SU cardstock, SU Delight in Life Sell-a-bration stamps, SU Warm Words stamps and some organza ribbon. I watercoloured the flowers using SU's Pastels and blender pen, cut out "windows" in 2 of the cards for the words and the other 2, I tore the fronts and added white cardstock behind the tears.

These 2 cards are created with SU Loving Hearts Stamp set, SU cardstock and some organza ribbon.

This card is created with the SU So Very Sell-a-bration stamp set Beyond the Basics stamp set and Loving Hearts Stamp set on SU Cardstock with some SU grosgrain ribbon.

These 2 cards are sympathy cards created with SU cardstock and So Very stamps, Delight in Life stamps, Natural Beauty stamps and some organza ribbon. The butterfly is watercoloured with SU pastels and blender pen.

Thanks for lookin' :)

Wow, these Candles are amazing!!

I tried the technique today of applying stamped images to candles. I couldn't believe how easy and effective this was to actually do!! I think I got the instructions from the SplitCoastStampers site and voila!!!
